Junior Model United Nations (JMUN) is an educational program specifically tailored to middle school students. The program aims to develop students’ skills in diplomacy, teamwork, and critical thinking. It accomplishes this by providing students with a unique perspective on the Sustainable Development Goals.
Junior MUN inspires an early interest in global affairs, which lays the foundation for future leadership. Through this program, students learn about the complexities of international relations and the importance of collaboration between nations. This experience helps students to become more informed, responsible, and empathetic global citizens.
By focusing on the Sustainable Development Goals, Junior MUN encourages students to think critically about how to address the world’s most pressing challenges, such as poverty, inequality, and climate change.
